The Home of Grace program has developed from over 40 years of experience in the Drug and Alcohol field. The program consists of Education, Devotion & Chapel Services, Individual & Group Counseling, and an On-Campus Work Program.
Education
We believe that classroom education is essential and offers an atmosphere where learning is at an optimum. In depth curriculum is designed with recovery in mind. Topics include Fundamentals of Christianity, Additive Lifestyles & Behaviors, Relationships and Work & Life Skills Training.
Also available are Adult Education Classes. These classes provide an excellent opportunity for individuals who have not yet completed their High School Diploma to receive their GED. In addition to the GED program, study classes are available for students preparing to enroll into college.
Devotions/Chapels
Since the Home of Grace is a Christian Faith Based Program, clients meet each morning with a dedicated team of volunteers for devotion and each evening for chapel services.
Counseling
Each client is assigned a counselor to be their personal contact while in the Home of Grace. Meeting several times each week, clients are exposed to both group and individual sessions covering a wide range of topics. Special attention is placed on relapse prevention plans and building support networks during these sessions.
Work Program
The Home of Grace operates on two separate campuses. Clients are expected to participate in daily chores and work projects. Work projects are on property and consist of construction, grounds maintenance, etc. The Work Program gives clients the opportunity to create good work habits, develop needed skills and practice maintaining responsibilities.
It is important that each facet of life is addressed when dealing with recovery. The Home of Grace strives to do this by offering these services.
